Main gear and gear door fit | 11.1.2020

Emily's dad came over and assisted with fitting the main gear and main gear doors. Basically just some minor adjustments to the gear wells were needed to make everything fit and swing with no rubbing/interference.

We first reconnected the gold box and all the gear control stuff, then swung the gear, checking clearance as it came up and when it was up, and filing/sanding where needed. Once that was done, we installed the gear doors and did the same for those.

After some fitting, we realized that the right gear door would need some mounting holes filled and then re-drilled in a new spot for best fit, so we filled the holes with micro-glass on the front and but 1 ply BID on the rear for support.

You can actually see that the holes have been moved once before. Guess the Stabells also ran into issues.
